Bounce it Back: I'm so ready for 2018

Have you had a break lately? I know, entrepreneurs don't take breaks right?...

You couldn't be more wrong. I have watched plenty of my fellow Biz buds, tribe and friends crash and burnout this year. It almost seemed like 2017 was walking around with a belt  in its hand handing out @ss whoopings!

Seriously! We all need a break sometime. I know with all the wanna be gurus telling you team no sleep and them bills being due speak otherwise.

Your body and mind don't care nothing about that though. Trust me, I found out the hard way.

Taking a break to regroup and restructure what I wanted to do in the first place was much-needed. I did some soul-searching and reconnected with my passion again.

If my passion was my lover then we'd make love all night. It felt so good to truly understand my WHY and nailing down my HOW came as a bonus.

I guess you can say I had a bizzgasm. You know, that feeling you get when everything finally starts to make sense and you begin to feel human again...yeah that part. LOL

The first year of owning a business is usually one of the hardest for most entrepreneurs. To those who've decided to go cold turkey and do this Full-time, I applaud you.

I also want to give you 2 shots of whatever, a hug, a pat on the back, a free vacay and more.

To some that may seem like an overkill response but most people have dreams that they let slip through their fingers because of the first year blues.

So I'm here to tell you to keep going. Do not give up for anyone or anything.

The path may look exactly like a pile of $hit on the day you decided to wear sandals. Yep, it happens like that sometimes but the climb to the top doesn't come with an elevator for most.

If you agree say AMEN! I'm sure you just said that out loud LOL.

Something else that helped me prepare for 2018 was building my circle up and being able to trust again. After steeping in a few piles of doo doo and having nothing to help get this mess off my feet sucked.

I needed friends and surprisingly they needed me. Building a healthy sisterhood was necessary. It provided so much more than just some chics to hang with.

Since joining a car club recently that also gave hubby the brotherhood that was missing as well. I mean He is pretty quiet anyway but it's nice to be doing something together and finally exploring Atlanta.

So Listen to me loud and clear because I'm sure I'll repeat this later but listen anyway...

YOU CANNOT DO THIS BY YOURSELF!!!

You may be the best at everything that you do but that doesn't mean that you must do everything!

Allowing a few into your circle a few or one at a time can provide huge benefits to you, your business and sanity.

You will not only free up much-needed valuable time but you will be able to enjoy some of the most interesting people around you as well.

Opening up and exploring things with a different approach has worked wonders.

Are you struggling in this area? If so, declare that you will overcome this obstacle in 2018! No need to keep going in the wrong direction. Especially when you already know what's right for you!

We did a few basic things and got my stuff together quickly.

We followed a few self engagement steps that have proven to work. They even worked for my hubby. We've met new friends, connected with each other and get this; the boys are starting to mimic our actions too. PRICELESS!!! Lead by example!

So instead of screaming all this new year new me stuff these new years and not following up.

Decide now that you will take your life, business and time back.

So are you ready for 2018?

or should I be asking is 2018 ready for you?
